Throughout a week at New You Escapes you will have a split approach between cardiovascular training, strength and conditioning and flexibility. All three approaches are as important as one another. More often than not our clients forget that recovery is just as important, if not more important, than the training itself. Boxing classes, aqua classes, LBT style class, body bar classes, weight training, hiking and games are just some examples of the classes that will be held. Throughout the week you will be motivated, inspired and reach new physical levels that you didn’t think possible – it truly is astounding.
Nutrition at Boot Camp
Throughout the week our nutrition team will support you to understand food and diet. It seems every day a new diet appears: the cabbage soup diet, the maple syrup diet, slimming clubs, 5:2, veganuary and so on and so on. The diet industry is worth billions all due to people looking for a quick fix. So, they give you a quick fix. The issue with a quick fix is that you are doomed to fail.
We teach you throughout the week about food – real food. We teach you how food impacts your hormones, the impact of stress, lack of sleep, why you have sugar cravings or salt cravings.
In essence not only do our chefs serve delicious local whole food to you throughout the week to nourish your body and mind, our nutrition team teach you about your body and how to truly change your weight, your health, your mind and your life for good.
