I’ve just returned from Wales following our March back to basics boot camp, and what an awesome time it was! The boot camp was a great week and all ladies should be very proud of the hard work and effort put in throughout the week. The amount of work reflected in the results at the end of the week, with a couple of people losing as much as 15 lbs – fantastic work!
The evening run proved to be the toughest part of the day for most with some really having to dig deep for the energy and motivation to get out there and give one hundred percent effort, but everyone managed to pull through this every night. Team encouragement also played a part in this and everyone felt a big sense of achievement when the evening runs were finished!
I know the rock climbing and abseiling was the best part of the week for some, with a few ladies being extremely surprised by their ability and fearless attitude towards it – particularly in making it all the way to the top of the cliff! Our clientele each had their own separate reasons for choosing to join a boot camp, with some wanting to lose weight, and others hoping to become more confident at work. I can honestly say that by the end of the week, I felt that each of the ladies had already achieved – or were well on their way to achieving – their personal goals. Keep up the good work everyone, and best of luck for the future!
My top tip tip for the week is positive thinking. Stay positive throughout the week and keep reminding yourself of the reasons that you chose to come on this experience. This will really drive you, which really makes the challenges a lot easier to accomplish.
