Your Story:
What was it that made you book on to the Fitness day?:Â
I seem to have lost momentum and a bit of confidence so booked on the one day boot camp to give myself a kick start.
How has it changed your life?:
Made me realise that whilst I do work out a lot, I wasn’t really pushing myself at all, and I had the capacity to work a lot harder and to get the results that come with that, also that I enjoy working out with other people, rather than on my own, and not to lose the fun element of it (it can all get a bit too serious at times!)
Have you set your self any targets any challenges?
Yes, I am taking part in some fun races (Hell runner south as an example) and enjoying getting fit again, I run for pleasure as well as for training and don’t give up when I have a bad day, I also push myself to try and do things that previously I wouldn’t have thought I could – harder work in classes but feel great afterwards
What would you say to anyone thinking of booking on?
Just do it, the people are all there with similar or the same ambitions, to get fit(er), to lose weight and to gain confidence, the staff are fantastic and you get to have a good laugh through all the hard work and pain – in particular the day camps, keep you on the straight and narrow and bring the fun back into your workouts and are a great way to see and check your improvements over time.*
