I’ve always struggled with my weight. I needed a kick up the backside and a bit of direction on how to eat healthily and exercise properly during my Liberty X days it was especially awful because my bandmates Jessica [Taylor] and Kelli [Young] were both over 5ft 8in with amazing bodies. They always put me in the middle because I was the plump one, so there was always pictures of myself I didn’t like.
After a week at New You Boot Camp I can feel a massive difference in my body, my clothes are fitting me better and I’m nice and toned. I feel really healthy and much more confident. I’m a bit of a pear shape, so even if I lose loads of weight I don’t tend to lose much around my bottom area, but I’ve noticed a massive difference now, especially in my jeans. These size 12 jeans are baggy on me now, but they weren’t two weeks ago – they were firmly gripping my arse and were rippling down the back. They’re my favourite Miss Sixty jeans and they’e fitting me properly for the first time in ages.
After Boot Camp I’ve tried to keep healthy. I’m strict for six days a week, then I have Sundays off. I went to my friend’s mum’s place last weekend for a roast dinner and I didn’t have any Yorkshire pudding and only a little gravy!
