Date of New You Boot Camp Attended: 4-11 September 2009
Occupation: Event Manager
Martial Status: Married
Age: 36
Where you live: Milton Keynes
The main reason I booked on to New You Boot Camp:
Was feeling in a bit of a rut and wanted to kick-start my diet and fitness regime.
Your Experience At New You Boot Camp:
One of the hardest weeks of my life both physically and emotionally but also one of the most rewarding and enjoyable – my results at the end of the week certainly made it all very worthwhile. The instructors were tough but at the same time, very encouraging and you could have a laugh with them!
How has New You Boot Camp changed your life?:
It has enabled me to re-focus and really commit myself to leading a healthier and more active lifestyle.
What would you say to anyone thinking of booking on?:
Go for it, I would thoroughly recommend it – it’s not easy but if you work hard, the results will be worth it!!  I would definitely consider doing one again next year – hopefully it won’t be for the weight loss as I will be at my ideal weight but for maintaining muscle tone and fitness levels.
How much weight and inches did you lose at boot camp?:
13 pounds and 9 inches
What goals have you set for the future?:
I have only been back a week so haven’t lost any further weight but haven’t gained any either – I would like to lose another half a stone and am happy for this to be a gradual process – I have continued with the eating plan and have found it surprisingly easy. It’s just a case of preparation and if I can do it anyone can. I have a busy life and work long hours but surprisingly, the preparation doesn’t take that much time once you have made up your mind that you want to do it. I enjoy running and am planning to look at some 10K races and half marathons, as having a goal like that gives you even further motivation to go out and do the training.*
