Your Story:
What was it that made you book on to the boot camp? It was something to make me start losing weight as I was totally unfit.
I’ve been dieting on and off for about 6 years. At my biggest I was a little over 18st and wore a size 24. I was a classic yo-yo dieter, losing my weight fast and then putting it back on even faster. I signed up for New You Boot Camp as something to motivate me and help me stick with my diet, and it worked. I lost 2 stone before I started camp and a further 8lbs at camp. I left at 10.10. Since then I have fluctuated as problems arouse. I was a classic comfort eater, but after trying to tackle that problem I’ve continued losing. I’m now 9.3st and have held this steady since October. My problem has always been not knowing what to do once I reach goal and letting bad habits creep in again so this new year I took the drastic step of signing up for the lochness marathon in October. It’s meant my exercise regime has increased and I’m also seeing the huge benefits its having on my body. Ideally I would like to lose another few pounds to feel comfortable, but that may happen when I’m toned without losing any more weight. Although I would love to be able to say that I’ve lost half my body weight. I’ve gone from a size 24 to an 8.
Your Experience at Boot Camp:Â
It was brilliant, met some great ladies and lost 8lbs! I also learnt the tools to continue my weight loss once I got home.
How has it changed your life:Â
It taught me a lot about how much I can push myself, lots of new exercises and eating habits which I’m keeping to.
Have you set your self any targets any challenges?Â
Running the marathon in October.
What would you say to anyone thinking of booking on?
Go for it, you won’t regret it!<a href=”http://newyoubootcamp.com/terms#disclaimer”>*</a>
