Latest Update From Alice: Â
I did NYBC about three years ago and loved it. It was really tough but pushed every individual to achieve as much as they could.
Scroll on three years and I have just completed the Tour D’Afrique, the longest bike race in the world. I cycled 12,000km from Cairo to Cape Town in just 120 days. It was the most amazing adventure. Incredibly physically tough at the beginning as I grappled with cycling for eight hours a day every day.
Egypt was my in-race training and then we hit the Sudan, with 51C temperatures and dirt roads where the option was either back-breaking corrugation or bike-stopping sand. There were points where I thought I might just die – but the extreme pain of those days prepared me for the climbing in Ethiopia. We cycled for 24 days and every single day we ascended over 1000m (higher than Snowdon).
Every country and every day had its challenges, and its moments of sheer delight and the equivalent misery. But the feeling of riding into Cape Town was amazing. So, use NYBC as a stepping stone and leap off it to your next adventure! I did and now I am searching for the next one.

Experience at New You Boot Camp:
NYBC was a great experience. The week went incredibly quickly and all of our group lost weight and inches and had a fantastic time. I was worried that when I got back to real life and with a job that involves loads of socialising and dinners etc., I wouldn’t be able to maintain the diet or fit in the exercise. But I have done both. I have lost more weight – another half a stone – and with the help of the recipes etc., I have found the diet actually, really easy, being able to have a glass of red wine helps obviously! New You Boot Camp is brilliant – great team, great fun, great results. I would recommend it to anyone.*
