THE SUNSHINE SESSIONS
Need to rejuvenate your fitness regime?
We select the classes worth heading outside for, come rain or shine.
Spring is here! Which means we can finally start heading outdoors for workouts. There’s nothing like leaving the steamy, sweaty confines of a gym behind in favour or sunshine, green grass and blue skies.
But if setting that intention is about as far as you’ve managed to take you outdoor exercise so far, we’re here to put a little spring in your step. Rather than planning and running your own exercise session – which we understand can be pretty demanding on the motivation front – why not join a group of like – minded people and opt for an outdoor class, instead? From boot camps to water activities, we’ve got it covered.
A boot camp is a great way to get fit outdoors and with New You Boot Camp , you can fine one –off kick-starter sessions, intensive weekends or regular sessions to work around your schedule.
The boot camps – based on either fitness or weight loss depending on your goal – are tough, with up to 10-12 hours of training per day for the weekenders and six hours for the one-off days.
This may sound gruelling, but the camps are suitable for all abilities and you’re guaranteed to have a lot of fun while burning serious amount of fat.
Boot camp training is not for the faint-hearted, but we welcome all fi9tness levels, says Martin Tovey, senior trainer at New You Boot Camp. Many other classes can just be for an hour or so but this is a whole day of a wide range of challenges and activities.
