New You Boot Camp is a life changing business that helps people reach their personal goals through health, fitness & self belief.

5-10 seconds: What’s the business model?

We are based throughout Europe. New You Boot Camp have a recipe that works, our therapeutic menus and military training programs alongside our holistic therapies make an entire package that works. We take our staff through Europe to different venues we have collaborated with to offer our services.

10-15 seconds: Who are your competitors?

There are no real competitors within the boot camp industry as no other company gets the results we offer. However, our clients will choose between us, Champneys, Jason Vale Juice Master Retreats and Hiking Holidays throughout The World.

15-20 seconds: What’s your USP?

We do what we say we will do. We offer life changing results and this is precisely what our clients receive. So many companies say they will do this & don’t but we actually do.

20-25 seconds: How have you funded it so far?

I personally funded it when we started but only with £5k. We have been successful since day 1, thankfully, and so the company has always been profitable to date.

25-30 seconds: What were you doing before?

I owned a corporate event company, which I sold in 2006

30-35 seconds: Where did the idea come from?

I used to live in Canada and Boot Camps were the norm over there. When I came home I lived in London and set up my corporate event company. When I wanted to do another boot camp I realised there weren’t any over here in Europe.

35-40 seconds: What’s the smartest thing you’ve done so far?

Opened up the boot camps to guys too. We used to be female only. We still do offer female only courses at our Classic Boot Camp in Somerset but many of our courses are mixed now.

40-45 seconds: What’s the stupidest?

Trying to open a cookery course. Our clients come to us for results not to learn to cook.  We teach cooking on our courses now anyway but I tried to go into a market which was not our core sector. I stepped away from our specialty and that was just dumb!

45-50 seconds: If your business was a biscuit, what would it be?

We don’t eat wheat or dairy so this is tricky!!!  Can we be a Naked Bar???

50-55 seconds: Which idea are you a bit jealous of?

Virgin’s trips to the moon!!! I would love to go but can you imagine how many people will want to do this in the future?! It’s immense!!

55-60 seconds: Where are you going to be in 12 months’ time?

We will be in the UK and Spain as we currently are and we are also opening in Morocco!! We also have our Teen Summer Camp which is going from strength to strength and this project for the kids is really exciting for us!*
