This was a brilliant week all round! The first thing I would like to say is that the work effort throughout the week did not drop once. Hard work was put in by everyone on every single day and there was a lot of laughter to go with this.
We had twelve clients on this boot camp and the bond that developed between the group was tremendous. All ladies really pulled together and made the tough times a lot easier – great work ladies! I know that a few good friendships were created among the group throughout the week, and there were talks of doing fitness days together, or even another boot camp. Good luck with them ladies!
The stretcher run was a great example of outstanding teamwork. This was done twice throughout the week and on the second attempt, later in the second half of the week, the ladies beat their first time by a good minute and a half. This was a spectacular achievement, and Staff Evans said he was very impressed!
At the beginning of the week running was not a popular topic amongst the group, with a few not being able to run. However, as the week progressed – with a little motivation from the Staff, and a lot of determination from the ladies – they were all running, with the majority being surprised at their ability and how much they enjoyed it. The best part of the week for me was definitely the canoeing! The ladies had great fun doing an activity that most of them had never done before, and the vibe between the group was at an all time high.
My top tip tip for the week is definitely team work. Working as a team really does make a difference, and it can make your boot camp experience even more enjoyable!
