It is possible but it does take focus, planning, and a determination to stick with the resolutions for the same amount of time it takes to change a habit, so that the resolutions also turn into new habits.
It is imperative for you to change your behaviour and create a habit. A habit will last!! Your brain cannot focus on an aspiration for very long. Did you know that 88% of people fail to keep their New Year’s Resolution and this is because the brain cannot deal with the amount of will power required to keep an aspiration going. You absolutely need to change the behaviour as your brain can absolutely work with you to create a new habit. To outline the difference between a resolution and a habit. You can see the difference. A habit is precise, it is measurable. This is key!
Resolution: Lose Weight vs. Habit: Every evening after work, go for a 2-3 minute run or walk around the block.

Baby steps are key. Manageable steps that can be marked for results are key. Your brain must stay focused, positive and in full engagement with your life change. Remember to concentrate on one thing. Making a whole list of changes such as quit smoking, lose weight, make new friends, get a new job, move to the seaside, stop drinking and be more healthy….( it’s exhausting just writing the list) is not possible to achieve all of this in one go!! Pick one thing. Concentrate on it. Stay focused. Make the new habit a life change. Then move on to the next change you would like to make.
You can make this change. You can be successful and ultimately you are already awesome you just want to make a tweek. Make sure you set a good plan out and you will succeed.
